Gladys Williams

Gladys Williams is a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist (LCMFT). She
holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Wichita State University and a master’s in
Marriage and Family Therapy, from Friends University. Her education & experience are
rooted in trauma-informed care & practices. She strongly believes that with fitting
tools, support, and a safe environment, people can create and improve an adaptive
mindset as they navigate life’s challenges.
Gladys is a culturally competent provider who works with adolescents, adults, couples,
& family systems. She utilizes evidence-based approaches including Solution Focused
Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive
Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Narrative Therapy, & Intergenerational systemic family
theories.
Gladys has worked in the mental health field in various capacities for over 16 years.
She has extensive experience working with various populations- serving at-risk
populations and those displaced in our community. She has experience working with
individuals who are struggling with depression, anxiety, psychosis, PTSD, maternal
mental health, infertility, immigration-related issues, social justice, phase of life issues,
first responder-related issues, high conflict relationships, intimacy issues, forensics
mental health system, personality disorders, suicidal thoughts, and survivors of suicide
loss.
Gladys is married to Chris and together they are raising three wonderful children. She
enjoys traveling with family, sports, caring for plants & being a lifelong learner!
