Barb Meyer

Barb is a master-level clinical social worker with experience in child welfare, schools, and crisis work. I enjoy working with clients of all ages to achieve their potential. I have a specific interest in helping people overcome feelings of anxiety and depression including suicide ideation. I enjoy helping young people overcome school-related issues including ADHD and various mental health issues. Helping parents learn new skills to support their children is important to me.

Barb’s educational background includes a Bachelors in Social Work from Kansas State University and a Masters in Social Work from Kansas University. My training also includes trauma-informed practices.

Barb is committed to helping people who experience trauma or severe life stressors. I have a passion to bring healing to people who have been through a traumatic/stressful experience. I help my clients who include children, young adults, and families to find healthy perceptions of themselves and strengthen their relationships so they can know themselves as peaceful, complete, and safe.
