Rodney Michael
I hold a B.A. in Bible and Pastoral Ministry from Manhattan Christian College and am currently completing my M.S. in Clinical Counseling at Emporia State University. My focus lies in supporting individuals navigating trauma, PTSD, suicidality, depression, and anxiety.
My passion for counseling stems from personal experiences—both in overcoming my own struggles with trauma and depression, and in witnessing the stigma surrounding mental health. These experiences have shaped my belief that healing begins with feeling truly seen and understood. I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel valued and supported.
I believe that with the right support and guidance, every person can rediscover their strength and resilience. Therapy is a collaborative process, and together we’ll explore strategies that honor your experiences and help you move toward healing. My approach is grounded in empathy, open-mindedness, and a deep respect for each client’s unique journey.
No matter where you are right now, I want you to know you’re not alone. I look forward to connecting with you and being part of your healing process.
