Grace Henderson
Through my journey as a clinical mental health counseling student at Wichita State University, I’ve developed a passion for supporting individuals who are navigating the complexities of young adulthood, with particular focus on women and college-aged individuals.
Through my studies and internships, I’ve developed my skills in addressing a range of issues commonly faced by college students, including academic stress, identity exploration, relationship challenges, and mental health concerns. My passion lies in empowering women to overcome societal pressures, cultivate self-worth, and embrace their unique identities. I believe in providing a safe and nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts and emotions, develop coping strategies, and build resilience.
I utilize evidence-based approaches like cognitive-behavioral techniques, mindfulness interventions, and principles of person-centered therapy to provide comprehensive support. I aim to offer holistic guidance that fosters personal growth and well-being for all.
